Nine Questions

Hello!

I'm Jane Hanser and the ESL Help Desk is glad that you have stopped by!  The ESL Help Desk is a unique podcast for learners of English because all of our examples and activities are based on authentic language, either written or spoken by others learners of English.

This episode is our welcome back episode, after a very nice - and much needed - summer break.

Today, we'd like to do something different: We'd like to present you with a series of questions for you to listen to, think about, and answer. These questions were written by another learner of English.

I think you'll find them interesting and thought-provoking.  If necessary, you have the vocabulary list to the left to help you.  We have provided some, but not all, of the definitions.

We're happy to be back with our listening audience and thank you for all your support while we took our summer break. We hope you all had a wonderful summer, too, and are back refreshed and ready to resume learning English!

And now, listen to, think about, and answer the questions you will hear.

Those are our nine questions for today.

Thanks for stopping by and we hope to see you next week.
