Today is Wednesday, March 7th, 2007, and this is the ESL Help Desk inviting you to listen to today's podcast. After you finish with today's lesson, hop on over to our Library, which is being populated weekly with audio stories and grammar lessons. When you write, do you like to have some music playing in the background? Do you like to write in a quiet or a noisy environment? Are you able to concentrate when the TV is playing? Does silence relax you or disturb you? For a homework assignment, our class had to write for ten minutes in an environment that was new and different to them. Today you will listen to an essay by Aleksandr Shteynberg, in which Alexander writes about his experience writing in different environments.
