The following sentences are from ESL students' writing. Find the problems(s) in adjective forms in each sentence and correct them. (Several of the sentences have more than one error, and more than one type of error.)

1.  Novosibkrsk is divided into several regions.

2.  One of the disadvantages of corporal punishment is that children might be afraid to answer the teacher's questions.

3.  They always try to give us good advice.

4.  Don Corleone was a man who had a lot of power.

5.  My husband knew English better than me.
     My husband knew English better than I did.

6.  He is unhappy because he lives by himself.

7.  We didn't tell anybody where they were.

8.  Joy is something that one feels within himself.
