This week we are kicking off a new feature for our users - the Inner Circle. We've been planning this for some time and appreciate your patience while we've worked out some of the technical issues of presenting this body of work to you. The Inner Circle is for learners of all levels - beginner, intermediate, and advanced. We understand from experience that learners of English enjoy reading what other learners of English have written; they enjoy reading about shared experiences, shared feelings, and shared challenges. In each of the Inner Circle's weekly lessons, you are going to be presented with three mini-lessons, which feature the writing of other learners of English from all over the world. One of them might be from your native country! We know you'll enjoy reading these lessons and essays. In addition, you'll now be able to get practice with grammar, as you'll read essays with errors in them. Each essay highlights a particular type of grammar error. Finally, improve your listening comprehension by listening to the essay as it is read aloud. Maybe you'll just want to sit back, close your eyes, and listen. So we ask you to register for the Inner Circle and then enjoy learning from, or simply reading and listening, to these fascinating essays. Look below to see what excellent topics we are offering in the first two of our weekly lessons: Lesson One Beginner: I Wanted to Be a Fireman Featured Grammar Focus: Articles Intermediate: What Do Children Really Need? Featured Grammar Focus: Nouns and Pronouns Advanced: Will Adam Enlist? Featured Grammar Focus: Conditional Sentences
Beginner: Buddhist Prayer Sticks Featured Grammar Focus: Nouns and Pronouns Intermediate: Why Are Some Rich and Others Poor? Featured Grammar Focus: Punctuation Advanced: What My Uncle Told Me about Marriage Featured Grammar Focus: Passive Voice
